Position Summary
As a Security Consultant working on the Microsoft 365 Certification managed service contract (Microsoft Project), you will be responsible for delivering audit / assessment functions as required to deliver on the Microsoft Project on behalf of Microsoft, in a flexible and methodical approach. Additional functions will include, but not be limited to; supporting all areas of delivery of this Microsoft Project, scoping calls, assessment calls, helping to further develop and evolve the audit framework Claranet has developed, and support associate members of the team.
Beyond this, you may work with other stakeholders across the wider business in support of Claranet’s mission building new and exciting services, enhancing, and improving existing service offerings, and delivering additional services within the Cyber Practice function, within which this role sits.
The key objectives and results will be to:
successfully deliver Microsoft Project on behalf of Microsoft
successfully deliver other Cyber Practice function service offerings in line with employee capabilities
ensure customer and ISV (Independent Software Vendor) satisfaction by delivering the Microsoft Project to a high-quality standard, meeting customer’s needs
play an active role in Claranet’s efforts in service development, improvements, and optimisation
About the role
Perform assessments against the Claranet developed Microsoft 365 Certification on behalf of Microsoft
Provide timely communication with ISVs to ensure continued progression through assessments that have started
Provide ongoing support to ISVs looking to start an assessment or already progressing through an assessment
Liaise with Microsoft in support of deliver of the Microsoft Project
Participate in ISV calls to; provide Q&A (question and answer) support for ISVs wanting to start the assessment, performing remote assessment activities, etc.
Where appropriate, provide a mentoring to associate colleagues delivering the Microsoft Project
Maintain excellent communication with customers
Maintain excellent communication and collaboration with internal teams to support Claranet in meeting its vision
Keep up with industry trends, emerging threats, and technological advancements to effectively address new challenges and technologies
Where necessary, perform QA (Quality Assurance) reviews of reports produced by the Cyber Security function’s GRC team
Where appropriated, fulfil or supporting other GRC team members in fulfilling other customer consultancy / projects, such as ISO, cyber security reviews, risk assessments, etc.
