Human Resources Officer

I’m seeking a pro-active HR Officer to become an integral part of an educational institution.

Partnering with Headteachers and providing HR guidance and advise, modernising policies and processes, and supporting the HR lifecycle. Managing recruitment, leading HR projects and change programmes, this role is one that you can be truly be creative in and make your own.

What’s the role?

Business Partnering : Championing HR best practices and ensuring effective management, providing top level advice and guidance, and working in partnership with the wider HR team.

Recruitment : Managing the school’s recruitment campaigns, producing adverts, screening candidates. Lead the onboarding process ensuring all induction and safeguarding training has been completed.

Change Management : Maximise engagement rate, completing employee engagement surveys and improve internal communication

Employee Relations : Oversee staff absence and attendance, monitoring trends, support through Employee Relations casework, and provide advice on ER issues

This role spans across three locations, two schools and the main hub, each just 30 minutes apart, with a requirement of 1-2 days per week at each school, and 1 day at Head office. During half-term (13 weeks of the year), you will have the option to work from home entirely!

Who are you?

A professional with generalist HR experience

Previous experience of working in HR projects

Experiencing of managing recruitment and the onboarding process

Strong ability to advise colleagues on HR issues, whilst maintaining a level of integrity

Exceptional communication skills
