As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of goods in our warehouse. Your duties will include:
Receiving, checking and sorting the full range of products that enter the warehouse
Picking, packing and processing orders for dispatch
Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks and scanners
Maintaining a clean and tidy work area and following health and safety rules
Working as part of a team to meet deadlines and targets
To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you should have:
The ability to lift and move heavy items
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills
A flexible approach to work and the ability to work shifts
Basic numeracy and literacy skills and IT proficiency
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is desirable but not essential
