Materials Controller
Location: Leicestershire
Salary: DOE

Ordering materials from overseas supplies and control of stocks based on and off site.
Purchasing outers and packaging in line with demand.
Responsible for controlling and identifying materials within credit limits.
Working closely with planners, suppliers, production, goods in and technical
Responsible for short and long term materials orders and forecasts
Works with the senior management team
Requirements:
Previous experience of working with a materials planner / controller role in a manufacturing environment
Experienced within a packaging and labels - highly preferred
Strong commercial awareness
Experience of using an MRP system
Excellent use of MS Office
Able to work with accuracy and fine attention to detail, particularly when under pressure
Possesses a desire to understand customer and colleague’ requirements
Uses initiative when approaching new tasks, tackling problems and prioritising workload
