A highly reputable charity based in Northamptonshire are currently recruiting for a Tenancy Support Worker to join their team on a Permanent basis. This role will focus on supporting vulnerable homeless persons ,whilst they stay within temporary accommodation.
Length of contract: 12 Month Fixed Term
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: £24,536.40 per annum
Role responsibilities:
Deliver emotional and life skills-based support, assisting service users with day-to-day tasks
Complete support plans and risk assessments with the service users
Enforce tenancy conditions in line with procedures including low-level anti-social behaviour and rent arrears
Offer specialist knowledge and insight into rent arrears helping tenants with budgeting
Carry out regular estate inspections
Offer advice and assistance to tenants regarding their benefit entitlements
Provide support and advice to tenants in relation to issues concerning their tenancies
Manage void properties to ensure the quickest re-let times including carrying out viewings and sign-ups
Essential requirements:
An Enhanced DBS with the Adults lists checked from within the last 3 years or willingness to apply
Knowledge of working with vulnerable clients with mental health and substance misuse issues
A full UK Driving Licence and access to a car
