Location - West Bromwich
Salary - £26,264.16 (£14.03 per hour)
Hours - Rotating shifts days and afternoons (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm)
We are currently recruiting for a Mig Welder Fabricator for our client in West Bromwich. This is a great opportunity to secure a permanent position is a company that is rapidly growing and offers brilliant opportunities.
The Role involves:
• Producing parts to drawings
• Set and operate pierce, crop and curving machines
• Produce good quality welds to fittings
• Use measuring equipment to make quality components
• Ensures departmental and all company procedures are followed
• Responsible for ensuring recycling is carried out to the agreed standard
• Abide by company H&S rules
• Involvement in continuous improvement processes and driving through improvements in all aspects of the role.
• Ensuring that good levels of 5S are maintained on all machines, areas, and tooling
Candidate requirements
• Experience of fabrication and specifically MIG welding
• Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team
• A positive attitude
• Able to work as part of a team and as an individual
The package
Rotating days and afternoon shifts (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm).
Pay rate of £14.03 per hour
• 25 days annual leave
• Festive shutdown at Christmas
