The Role : The Account Executive will join a prominent household name in the caster and wheels industry, boasting over 140 years of expertise. Depending on your location, you will oversee a territory in the UK, encompassing either the Northern or Southern region. In this role, the Account Executive will be responsible for providing a diverse range of caster and wheel products to end users (80%) and OEMs (20%) across various sectors including healthcare, construction, catering, retail, and airlines.

As an Account Executive, you will forge relationships with decision-makers at all levels, ranging from purchasing managers to managing directors at the end-user level, as well as design engineers and procurement managers for OEMs. While inheriting existing accounts, you will have the autonomy to cultivate new ones, allocating your time between account management (40%) and new business development (60%)

As the largest manufacturer and distributor of casters and wheels globally, they boast several world-renowned brands under their umbrella. With a substantial £9 million turnover in the UK market alone, this industry leader is eager to enlist an Account Executive who shares their passion for their products and is dedicated to nurturing enduring relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new ones.

For this Account Executive position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

Ideally experience with casters and wheels, but all candidates with a background in technical sales will be considered.

An engineering background is advantageous, but not mandatory.

Forward-thinking candidates with great rapport building skills.

Exceptional communications skills, both verbal and written are a must.

Ideal candidates are those who embrace the opportunity to forge their own account base and are enthusiastic about starting fresh.

Must have a full driving license.

Benefits of this Account Executive role:

£35,000 - £40,000 base salary

OTE: £3000 - £5000

Fully expensed company car (hybrid)
