Shift Manager (Nightshift)

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Shift Manager able to successfully manage production outputs and deliverables throughout their shift. Part of the Production Director’s team, they will be responsible for contributing to the design of the production plan and then delivering it through their in-shift team.
Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Undertake contingency management and emergency response training and participate in continuation training drills and exercises.
Lead on-shift response to emergency and business continuity disruptions and events
Delivery of operational programme covering all aspects of operations/production, facilities, safety, quality and environment during their shift
Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, material procurement, and scheduling of activities.
Oversee the installation, fabrication, and modification of systems and components as directed by the Production Plan
Provide technical guidance and support to technicians and sub-contractors.
Implement quality control procedures for system installation and testing processes
Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Qualifications
Successful track record of supporting projects acrossheavy engineering, manufacturing or production is essential
Knowledge of managing projects from conception to completion, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Good all-round knowledge of fabrication processes.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
