We are currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a national credit team within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role is perfect for someone with a solid background in credit control who is ready to take on a new challenge and contribute to the success of multiple sites.
Day-to-day of the role:
Managing debt across various sites to ensure timely payments.
Allocating payments accurately and efficiently.
Generating and analysing aged debt reports.
Placing accounts on stop as necessary.
Monitoring direct debit arrangements and ensuring they are up to date.
Handling banking transactions and reconciliations.
Assisting with the management of the sales ledger.
Performing other ad hoc duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in a credit control role.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle enquiries and disputes.
Thoroughness and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Active listening skills to understand customer concerns and issues.
Persistence and determination to recover debts.
Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
