We are looking for a dynamic and talented individual to join our team within the Global Supply Chain division you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of projects to support the growth of our business, Improve and/or develop global supply chain processes and to improve product quality by using lean and 6 sigma approach and effectively working in a cross-functional environment.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities Analysis of existing processes and execution of improvements
Carry out root cause analysis of reported production issues
Experimental testing of dissolved gas analytics / sensor technology
Review Production line layout and re-structure as required
Project planning and execution of tasks to set timeline
Supporting new product introduction (NPI)
Support of daily production activities
Improve H&S and Ergonomics in production cells
Learn and apply lean tools and techniques
Develop and implement process improvement through automation
Review and update documented processes as required
Essential Criteria Has or currently are pursuing a degree in Engineering/Science (preferably Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical and Mechanical, but all considered), or equivalent knowledge or experience
Competency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
Demonstrated time management capability
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment or independently on multiple projects with strict completion deadlines.
Good writing skills, accuracy and an eye for detail.
Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
Desired Criteria Ability to collaborate across various functions and levels within the operations team
Confident at programming in excel and managing or developing databases/macros
Familiar with programming language example Labview or Matlab
Previous industrial work experience
Motivated to eliminate waste
Enthusiastic and imaginative
