Reed Accountancy is delighted to be working with a well-established client in Stanley in their search for a proactive and capable Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their team.
Reporting directly to the group management team, your duties will involve:
Management of the receivables cashbook
Reconciliation and allocation of receipts to ledger including an ability to reconcile payout transactions deriving from Shopify and Stripe
Timely recognition of customer discounts and rebates
Timely recognition of income stream fees
Liaising with account managers to resolve customer queries
Issuing month end statements
You will have:
At least 2 years' experience in accounts receivable/credit control roles
Systems experience with all Microsoft applications (particularly Excel), Microsoft Business Central is an advantage, as well as experience working with online platforms such as Stripe, Shopify and Amazon.
Full UK drivers licence as you may be required to travel to other sites in the North East occasionally
The role is 37.5 hours per week with weekly hours alternating between 08:30 to 17:00 (1 hour lunch at 12:00) and 09:00 to 17:30 (1 hour lunch at 13:00) and will be on-site.
