People Services Partner - CIPD Level 5
Location: South Wales
Working from Home: Monday, Tuesday and one other day in the week in office with two days working from home
Length of Contract : 12-month Fixed Term Contract
Pay: £41,957 per annum
Supporting two service reviews (restructures) and leading a job evaluation project
Operating as an integral member of your relevant business area, being responsible for the provision of comprehensive, professional, and high-quality HR advice and support to ensure best practice people management
Supporting key stakeholders to effectively implement and understand HR strategies to ensure they have the right people in the right place at the right time, designed to deliver excellence
Developing a sound understanding of the objectives of the business area that you are assigned to, working closely with managers to identify solutions to issues relating to workforce and operational issues
Providing expert advice on key areas such as effective change management, workforce planning, recruitment and absence management using data to inform decision making and planning, considering employment law/case law, employee relations and workforce policies
Supporting the Head of People Services in the development of new models of working to meet current and future business needs and to improve the tenant experience, feeding in operational insights from your business area
Working proactively with managers to identify the workforce implications of business initiatives and developing localised plans to deliver any required service changes.
Delivering an effective recruitment support package to managers, ensuring that policy and procedures are adhered to while also encouraging innovation and new ways of attracting top talent. Working with the wider People Services team, implementing any necessary additional recruitment and retention initiatives for hard to fill posts
Being fully understanding of and competent in the use of workforce information systems, working with the Assistant Business Partner - Workforce Systems to ensure that all systems are fit for purpose and give the necessary data to ensure effective business partnering
Supporting the development of the people management capabilities of managers, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and competence to handle staff management responsibilities effectively including carrying out mandatory training as directed by the Head of People Services
