About the role
Goods in – unloading deliveries, checking quantities/condition of stock, record receipt
Ensure stock is suitably packed and stored in the warehouse, using a hand scanner to capture storage location data
Picking customer orders, or items required by other branches and ensuring it is suitably, packed, wrapped and/ or palletised ready for despatch
Assisting customers with orders collected directly from the warehouse
Loading orders onto company’s own, customers and suppliers vehicles
Performing stock taking duties as and when required
The right candidate
Own transport is essential to reach the rural location of this warehouse
Previous experience in a similar role – picking/packing, dispatch, warehouse etc
Excellent communication skills, including reading and writing in English
IT literate
Comfortable in a role that involves walking, standing, lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching
