Agenda are recruiting for a Support Technician for our client who specialises in discovery, development, and research. The successful candidate will be responsible for making sure the laboratory department is clean, hygienic, and sterile to a high standard on a daily basis.

Basic Requirements:
* Experience working with cleaning machinery and equipment is essential.
* Knowledge of the use of cleaning chemicals and sterilising instruments.
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* Experience with health and safety standards and implementation are advantageous.
* Comfortable working alone or within a larger team depending on the task.
* Ability to organise/prioritise workload.
* Follow and maintain a meticulous level of sterilisation protocols including the use of autoclaving equipment.
* Flexible and adaptable with overtime for evenings and weekend work.
* A full UK driving licence is desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* General cleaning, housekeeping and upkeep of the animal facility.
* Perform cleaning and sterilisation of animal cages and equipment by operating large washers, autoclaves and fumigation/decontamination chambers. Training on how to operate all machines will be given.
