Business Development Manager
My client is fast-growing ambitious agile family run business, working in the private sector from SME to Corporate with thousands of established customers.
They are seeking an experienced BDM/Sales Consultant with an interiors background, to assist in unearthing and winning more projects, as well as developing our existing customer base. A professional consultative approach is paramount, the ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, drive and ambition. A team player, who wants to be part of something where they can make a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
To achieve sales targets
Generate a strong new business pipeline
Qualify and pursue inbound leads
Identify and further develop partner routes to market
Put together and present proposals and presentations, supported by the design and marketing team.
Oversee a project from start to finish
Stay up to date with current industry trends.
Keep company CRM system accurate and up to date
Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue.
About you:
You will have experience of meeting and exceeding New Business Sales Targets in the office furniture or interiors industry
You will have previous experience in account sales development with a consistent and proven track record.
You will have superb communication skills. You will need to be able to present our business proposition in a compelling and engaging manner.
You will have the ability to identify business opportunities and partnerships that are beneficial to the growth and reputation of our business.
Happy to travel and go above and beyond to secure business.
