Generation of burndown plans on delinquencieso Responsible for material planning process for all materials through the defined manufacturing route to shipment to achieve daily targets on time and in full aligned with the OPD.o Management of Stubs Inventory and planned production process, ensuring availability providing continuity of support to melt requirementso Monitoring of material through yields to identify nonstandard yield at stage.o Allocation of material for new make or linking to independent requirement orders.o Tracking of base requirement and monitoring of base WTL to ensure delivery to plan.o Ensuring Work centre load and schedules/WTLs are aligned to optimize Operational performanceo Ensure WTLs or schedules/plans are available lineside in operations.o Utilise the plant capacity model ensuring any constraints are managed accordingly through optimization of scheduleso Responsible for operational planning to achieve 100% OTASo Will support the line walk dailyo Work with operational managers to determine required future staffing levels, load and capacity model.o Will liaise with Maintenance and Plant Engineers creating the windows to hand over key equipment for the appropriate maintenance, to ensure throughput and equipment effectiveness is not compromisedo Identify SAP master data changes as required to ensure route optimization, timing and costs.o Must continuously improve planning of material to reduce lead times and improve and optimise WIP inventory and stock levelso Responsible for inventory management by identifying opportunities to maximise utilization of material, e.g., E&O and including stocktake, working in a cross functional team.The candidate will have the following skills :o Demonstrated experience of Production Planning in a manufacturing environmento Will drive systematic and process driven activities focusing on attention to detail and right first timeo Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels are essentialo Will have experience in reporting, data analysis, effectively turning system data into action orientated informationo Experience preferable in an aerospace manufacturing environment.o Demonstrable computer skills in SAP, BW Oracle databases and Microsoft Office, Excel, Accesso Analyticalo Strong sense of urgencyo High energy level and able to work flexible hourso Solid business acumeno Strong mindset for continuous improvementIn return the company will offer some very good and attractive benefits, we have an order book full up to 2025 so now is a very good time to join our business!
