They are a well established supplier of electrical products with multiple UK sites, and relationships with manufacturers internationally.
This is a newly created position working very closely with clients and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships and provide sound technical advice.
Responsibilities:
develop long-term relationships with clients; managing and interpreting their requirements
provide pre-sales technical assistance and after sales support
attend nationwide client and supplier visits (some overseas travel may also be required)
negotiating contracts, terms and conditions
ensuring that sales targets are met
Skills & Experience Required:
Experience in electrical / electronic engineering (related degree education or equivalent also desirable)
At least 2 years of experience and proven success in a similar role
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
A self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven attitude
A willingness to travel, with overnight stays when required
