Management Accountant

Our client is keen to appoint an experienced individual to join them as a Management Accountant. Applications are welcome from those working as an Assistant Management Accountant looking for that step up!
You will work very closely with a skilled team of 3 and prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the wider group in order to give an insight into business performance.

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Full time, Mon - Fri, flexible hours: 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm or 10am - 6pm

Responsibilities:
Month end process.
Preparation of Management Accounts for Board reporting.
Forecasting on a monthly basis, carrying out monthly cost centre meetings with budget holders.
Preparation of annual budget and 5-year plan.
Cash flow forecasting.
Assisting with statutory accounts and annual audit.
Compliance with Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) regulations.
Compliance with PAYE regulations including annual PSA reporting.
Maintenance and development of financial controls.
Ensuring financial compliance with local law and regulations.
VAT reporting
Skills & Experience:
All round technical financial competency.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong Excel skills.
Ability to work on their own initiative to tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills.
Payroll experience (desirable but not essential)
