Experience working with children and families and running a Creche.
Main Responsibilities of a Creche Worker: Engage in briefing sessions before and after group.
Engage in planning for each week based on children’s interest and next steps.
Participate in meaningful projects and interventions.
Invite parents and children in to a warm, welcoming environment.
Provide excellent quality care whilst parents are in workshops.
Meet each child’s needs using activities to support and encourage children’s resilience, emotional and social development through therapeutic type play.
Complete paperwork and keep safe and confidential, this includes registers accident/incident forms, medication, daily logs of sleep/nappy change, feeds, the child’s day
Follow all safety measures and familiarise yourself with all policies and procedures.
Ensure information is kept up to date, i.e., dietary and medical requirements.
Support parents when dropping off children, during lunch time family activity and when collecting at end of day.
Build and maintain good relationships with parents as well as children and promote building strong & caring relationships with positive interaction.
Provide ongoing advice for children’s needs.
Work as part of a skilled team, offering support to each other and adding own strengths.
