Future Build Recruitment is currently on the lookout for a seasoned Health & Safety Advisor to join a prominent utilities contractor. This position will be based out of our Portsmouth office, with responsibilities spanning across sites in Hampshire, Surrey, and West Sussex.
Role Overview:
As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of personnel across various utilities projects. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting site audits and generating comprehensive reports. You will be entrusted with the autonomy to manage your time efficiently, ensuring that projects adhere to the highest safety standards.
Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years' experience in the construction industry.
Ideally, prior experience in ground civils or utilities projects.
NEBOSH qualification is mandatory, preferably to NEBOSH Construction level.
Additional certifications in environmental safety are advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct site audits across Surrey, West Sussex, and Hampshire.
Generate detailed reports outlining safety observations and recommendations.
Collaborate with project teams to implement safety protocols and procedures.
Stay abreast of industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
