We are looking for a motivated Group Relief Head Chef to assist our busy wedding venue kitchen brigades - and help to drive the food culture for our stunning group of wedding venues. W hilst not responsible for 1 kitchen day to day the right candidate will work across our 7 wonderful sites across the south of England, milage covered and if and when required accommodation at venues provided too.
The right candidate will be up for a new challenge and ready to join already established kitchen teams at our venues on an adhoc basis. This job is full of variety and youll need to be able to turn your hand to a multitude of tasks. You will be a key player in adding strength and depth into current kitchen teams throughout our sites in South East. You must have the ability to jump in and lead from the front during holiday and head or sous chef absence, with the added benefit of no day to day full responsibility for one kitchen.

Requirements
A passion for delivering the most incredible culinary experiences
Directing the food preparation process & delegating tasks
Cooking & preparing high quality dishes
Create menu items, recipes & develop dishes
Supervising, motivating & working closely with other Chefs of all levels
Being responsible for health & safety
Being responsible for food hygiene practices
Ensuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created
Assisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary & food safety guidelines
Responsibilities
Produce food of an impeccable standard
Assist the training of all catering staff to achieve the highest possible standards
Ensure the kitchen is adequately staffed at all times, in line with budget set, hours to include breakfast and buffet
Ensure highest level of cleanliness is achieved in all catering work areas
Ensure smooth running of each event, maintaining high standards at all times
Ensure the safety of the building & the people in it with full awareness of health and safety procedures
Operate at all times in accordance with your employers health and safety policies
