Job description CompEX Electrician Engineer South West Area, UK Permanent £45,000+ per annum (Depending on Experience)
DK Recruitment are looking for several CompEX Electricians to help our client in the South west region.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in fuel facilities, including pumps, dispensers, tanks, and control systems.
Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical equipment to identify and address any issues or potential hazards.
Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions and ensure the reliable operation of fuel facilities.
Adhere to CompEX regulations and industry standards at all times, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and clients on electrical matters, including best practices and regulatory requirements.
Complete all necessary documentation and reporting related to electrical work, including maintenance records, inspection reports, and safety certifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CompEX Electrician Engineer, with a strong background in the fuel industry.
CompEX certification is required.
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and components, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical issues.
Excellent understanding of CompEX regulations and industry standards related to fuel facilities.
UK Driving License and clean driving record.
Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience working with fuel dispensers, pumps, and tanks is highly desirable.
