Purchase Admin Clerk

Our client within the food industry are looking for a supply team member to work within their site in Hillington Industrial Estate.

Overview

Responsibility for the management of raw materials and packaging.

Key Responsibilities

* In conjunction with business systems, reports and production schedules, ensure the timely arrival / placement / confirmation of purchase orders with suppliers and STO's for intercompany transfers.

* Resolution of any issues relating to the above, to avoid compromise to production/inventory/ business as a whole.

* Liaise with site supply chain team to confirm quantities, management of purchase orders and call-off quantities.

* Supporting accounts payable on invoice queries/issues.

* Maintain and review raw material stock levels with view to maximise cash flow and meet agreed targets.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a combination of the technical skills and experience and personal competencies outlined as follows:

* Process, systematic, analytical attributes

* Time management skills essential.

* System and process driven way of working

* Problem solver

* Good communicator within team

* Good system and analytical skills
