Job Description
We have an exciting new opportunity for Project Manager who will lead the successfuldelivery of defined project work packagesas delegated by the Project Manager and requiring deployment of project control and project management techniques. The role holder will be responsible for the delivery of projects or work packages of limited complexity to budget, schedule, scope & risk management. The role may include some team leadership responsibilities.
What you'll be doing
Assisting the project manager across all aspects of project management for a project, including the deployment of project control and project management techniques.
Managingsubcontracts, work packages and/or small projects, ensure delivery to budget, schedule, scope, risk management and quality of the contract.
Issuingauthorisations for work within the scope of own activity, i.e. release of budget such that work can be undertaken and the contract or project delivered.
Collatingdata for area of responsibility for contract service reviews and submit to project manager for inclusion into project Business Performance Reviews and Contract Reviews.
Ensuringcompliance with all project management tools and techniques, e.g. Life cycle management, risk registers, change control, etc.
Assisting with decision making for projects on resourcing strategy, subcontract and supply chain activity.
Collating, assemble and make presentations at Business Performance Reviews and Contract Reviews.
Leading or oversee the work of a small project management team, ensure team is deployed efficiently, trained and developed to ensure responsibilities are discharged in a professional manner.
Qualifications
Must have experience in working with investment Management and a front office environment
Knowledge of Front Office platforms in Investment Management
Experience of technical delivery of platform migrations to new architecture
Experience of Agile/iterative delivery methodologies, e.g. SAFe, Scrum
Sound understanding of IT software and infrastructure
Experience of project budgeting and defining roadmaps
Proven track record of personally managing successful projects
Experience of running projects which introduce organisational and business process change
Demonstrable business analysis skills
Leadership and matrix management skills
Structured approach to project/programme management
Excellent communications skills
Proven experience of managing agile delivery functions
Experience in facilitating and running workshops
