Chef De Partie / Sous Chef - Salary / Package
Base salary circa $70k - $75k AUD - plus fantastic accommodation, all your meals, bills, internet, laundry & monthly outgoings are provided for you - so you will have ZERO monthly costs. And of course you will enjoy the full range of activities & the island lifestyle on your two days offer per week! Many previous Chefs have done 2 seasons & have saved enough money to build their own homes.
Chef De Partie / Sous Chef
Located on a private, sub tropical island off the north east of Sydney this beautiful boutique hotel offers very high end guests a luxury holiday experience like no other. Along with first class accommodation the hotel offers a small number of upscale dining options. The ingredients are high end, locally grown, sourced & caught & prepared by some of the best Chef's that Australia & Europe have to offer.
We are looking to attract a Chef De Partie or a Sous Chef that has worked to at least fine dining or decent standard rosetted gastro (minimum 2-3 Rosettes) for at least 3 years. The food here has a laid back vibe but the quality of the ingredients are world class so you should have experience of working with high end, fresh ingredients where there is a laser focus on flavours & presentation.
Chef De Partie /Sous Chef – Eligibility – IMPORTANT – ***PLS READ***
Please read thru carefully & only apply for this role if you can fulfil the following criteria:
You must be eligible for an Australian Holiday Visa which covers you for the first 12 months of your employment. After the first year your employer has the option to sponsor you for a full Australian Visa. The key criteria is that you are under the age of 35 years old at the time of travel & you do not have any criminal convictions.
The role is only open to a couple. You MUST have a partner that is happy to come with you. Suitable work will be provided for your partner somewhere on the resort, even if he/she doesn't have experience in hospitality, a role in one of the hotels departments will be found for them. This unfortunately is a non - negotiable - so pls do not apply if you haven't discussed this with your partner first as we will not be able to progress your application.
