An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients for a Sales Manager - Bespoke Aluminium Profiles and Extrusions and Value-Added Services.

The business is part of a forward-thinking organisation who have an extraordinarily strong and well-respected brand and are part of a multi-million-pound turnover business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the organisation as it continues to grow and develop.

The company offer many products that differentiate them from their competitors. They are ISO9001 and Aerospace accredited to meet the demands of their Global client base, offering some of the quickest deliveries seen in the industry to a diverse customer base.

The ideal candidate will have a strong Sales Management, Commercial Management, Team/Man Management or Business Development background ideally with experience in Aluminium Extrusions, Aluminium or Aluminium Products, something Metals related or even potentially someone who has worked as a Metallurgist or has a Metallurgy background and is looking to break into more of a commercial role. Also, if you have French or German Language skills, especially German it would be a very advantageous.

As a Sales Manager, you will be measured on overall team performance, quote rate and order intake plus new clients the team secures along with further development of key accounts.

You will work with a customer base of clients in sectors such as the Aerospace industry, the Rail sector, the Architectural market, the Medical sector, the Automotive sector, the Electronics industry and into Defence so if you have a track record in these markets this will be welcomed and encouraged.

This role offers excellent and varied opportunities for career progression into more senior positions throughout the company but also the wider group, so the successful applicant will be an ambitious and forward-thinking individual who is hungry, thrives on a challenge and enjoys making profit for his company.

The company require applicants who have strong technical expertise, who can produce accurate quotations and will regularly go out and see clients. They are looking for applicants who are initiative-taking, hardworking, organised and diligent who is very new business focussed.

You will have strong Sales Management, Commercial Management, Team/Man Management or a Business Development background in Aluminium Extrusions, Aluminium or Aluminium Products, something Metals related, or you will have spent time working as a metallurgist or have a metallurgy background and are looking to break into sales. Again, German or French language skills but be especially useful.

The key selling points of the role are the company has been established for over 40 years, is very well established and they have great staff retention. Also, they feel it is an extremely exciting time to join the business as it is growing at a rapid rate and has vast potential to grow further. They have also invested a lot of money in machinery and equipment along with brand new offices and they are constantly looking to invest further. Lastly, there will be numerous progression opportunities in the business and the wider group plus the group is very financially robust and you are given freedom and autonomy within the business not to mention there is fantastic bonus earning potential.
