We are nhow hotel London. We are a quirky, fun hotel on the border of Shoreditch - we are very different (in the best possible way!) to any other hotel in London both in terms of look and feel. The People & Culture Manager will be responsible for all Human Resources aspects at nhow London ad will report into the General Manager. They will handle any issues relating to the day-to-day management and longer term strategic requirements for the successful ongoing planning for future goals are communicated accordingly. As part of the wider People & Culture team for Northern Europe, the People & Culture Manager will also report into the Regional Senior Director of People, based in Amsterdam, as well as work closely with the People & Culture Business Partner for Netherlands and the UK. This is a Senior Management position and will therefore form part of the Management team at nhow London.

Our ideal People & Culture Manager will:

Be well versed and confident with local legislation and practices and a commercial understanding of the local labour market and conditions.

Be comfortable dealing with all ER cases and supporting management in best practice.

Be able to demonstrate the highest levels of integrity in the management of his/her duties.

Ensure that monthly all relevant changes are communicated to the Financial Controller for processing, with an understanding of UK Wage laws and confidently respond to any general enquiries.

Lead local training initiatives.

Keep all records up to date on the relevant HR systems.

Work alongside all Senior Management members to maintain a highly engaging employee experience.

Be creative and forward thinking, looking for outside the box ideas to keep our team engaged and motivated.

Our People & Culture Manager will:

Have previous experience in a similar related role in the hospitality industry.

Be organised with great attention to detail.

Be hands-on, enthusiastic and passionate about delivering a high level of the full cycle of the employee experience from recruitment stage and beyond.

Be confident in leading and training the hotel team.

Possess excellent communication skills and be solution driven.

Have great knowledge of Microsoft packages, especially Excel.

CIPD qualification is desirable, but not essential.
