Gaucho have an exciting opportunity at our Liverpool restaurant for an experienced and passionate Business Development Manager. This is a great opportunity for a BDM who has already has some experience within a sales, marketing or events role in hospitality and is looking to grow within a sales position. The primary function is to manage group events and sales for the restaurant. The BDM will be an ambassador for the brand to ensure Gaucho is represented accurately (product and restaurant knowledge) and in keeping with excellent service standards, proactively bringing business in.

Key responsibilities of Business Development Manager role:
Handling enquiries and bookings
Adding revenue and revenue streams
Use your proactive sales techniques to convert incoming enquiries, overcoming barriers and objections to secure the sale
Identifying new opportunities including cover driving partnerships and events
Managing the local area discount scheme
Creating, managing relationships with PAs and concierges
Working to support the operation on the floor and in terms of guest relations
Sitting above the reception team
Experience Needed
At least 2 year within an events, marketing or sales role, ideally within hospitality
Written and verbal English essential
Good use of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Open table or Collins preferred
